In this edition of our spotlight, we look to the hills of Tennessee.
Steven Beckett proudly represents our provider, Wings Air Rescue, at the Johnson City and Morristown, Tennessee locations.
Steven has been with us since July of 2015. He has been married to the love of his life for 31 years, and together they have three sons, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
From Steven: “It wasn’t long after starting with the company that I fell in love with the company, the staff and the invaluable services we provide to the public. Speaking with families that had received the benefits of our service, some members and others not, I quickly realized that what we are doing isn’t merely a job… but a calling, and I very much wanted to be an integral part in this incredible company. After working for AirMedCare Network for 18 months, I cannot imagine doing anything else with my life.”
This week’s spotlight shines on Anna Hynes, Membership Manager for Air Evac Lifeteam Base #92 in Hardinsburg, KY.
Anna puts her enthusiasm for new challenges to work on a daily basis, limiting her communities exposure to out of pocket expense!
Anna has three children, all raised in rural Breckinridge County, KY, so she understands as well as anyone the need for access to definitive healthcare.
From Anna: “When I started working with Air Evac Lifeteam, “Sales” was beyond my skill set. I realized quickly that this job would challenge my drive for adventure and push me to be creative for success. I love working with people and I thrive to create a relationship with everyone I meet. Our membership program and flight crew services our community in such a way that touches everyone. Being involved with such a wonderful program that saves lives and pushes for excellence fulfills my personal ambitions. I love my job and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.”
This week’s spotlight features a 13 year veteran of the company, Mr. Jeremy Jenkins.
Jeremy started with us when he was only 20 years old, and has been wowing his managers ever since! Jeremy was the recipient of the below awards:
2004 Membership Employee of the year award
2004 Membership Hall of Fame Award
2012 Membership Employee of the Year Region 1 Award
In his free time, Jeremy coaches his son’s ball teams and enjoys reading, fishing and spending time with family. His lovely wife Crystal has been married to him almost as long as we have! 😉
From Jeremy: “Working with AMCN for 13 years I have had the opportunity to meet people from all over the country! I have many great stories that I hear out in the field, but the one that is special to me is watching the company I have spent half my life working for fly in and pick up my father for a heart condition. I can’t tell you how great it was watching that Helicopter fly in and pick my father up and take him into the hospital. I got chills knowing that every day, I tell folks how important it is to have this great program. That day I got to experience what I work so hard trying to explain to others come true in my own family. (no out of pocket for the flight) You see when you actually get to experience this great product it’s kind of unbelievable!! I will end by saying it’s an honor to work for such a great company, with great people who really do care!!”
This week’s spotlight features Linda Barnes, Membership Manager for the newly re-branded Midwest AeroCare, located in Chanute, KS, which is also Linda’s hometown.
Linda has been serving the area as part of the AirMedCare Network team since January of 2014, and it was immediately evident that she is the lady for the job! Her upbeat attitude is infectious, and her passion for life shows in her enthusiasm for her career.
From Linda: “Working for AMCN is amazing! I love people, and helping others. Sharing with people about our membership program has been a way to help and protect families, which is very satisfying! I have a strong passion and motivation for telling others about membership due to a family member being flown and insurance not covering the flight years ago. I consider my crew at Mid-West AeroCare my work family. I am very grateful to work with such an awesome team! Not only are they a fun bunch to work with and are very talented! They’re my kind of people and my shade of crazy! My mother always told me to do what you love and enjoyment will follow! This has certainly been true with my position at AirMedCare Network!”
We had another successful New Employee Orientation class this week!
A great batch of eager new additions to our Field Sales team, ready to hit the ground running!

At the Area Meetings, the teams come together for some group innovation, creative brainstorming, and fellowship with team members that are sometimes states apart.

The Child Advocacy Center is having an exciting fundraising event, called OVER THE EDGE!
As you can imagine from the name, participants will be repelling down a building, facing fear head-on, as children the advocacy center supports often have to!
Sarah Wittenauer and Jack Bates, employees of AMGH here in West Plains, will be participating, rappelling the Sky Eleven building in downtown Springfield, MO on June 4th.
They have set a goal of $3000, but need a minimum of $1000 each to participate.
The funds raised will go to support Child Advocacy Center’s services to abused, neglected, drug-endangered and exploited children in southwest and south central Missouri. CAC “puts the needs of the child first in an investigation for abuse” (CAC’s mission.) The children served have faced fear and trauma in their young lives. Despite their fears, they find the courage to share their difficult stories in the comfort and safety of our child-friendly center – and take that first brave step towards a life without abuse.

AMCN/AMGH love to participate in local fundraising events, especially for causes as worth as this! See below photos of AMCN team members, participating in various community fundraising efforts.
