Doug is a Membership Sales Manager that others not only look up to, but strive to emulate.

Congratulations Doug Little for being December’s Membership Sales Manager of the Month.

A word from Doug:

I live on our 6th generation family farm/ranch in a little community called Ditch Valley, which is 65 miles north of Woodward, OK, right on the Oklahoma/Kansas border. In 1995 I graduated for Oklahoma State University—GO POKES!!—with a degree in Animal Science. I worked on our families farm/ranch full time and also spent numerous hours lobbying at the Oklahoma State Capitol on issues that were important to the agricultural industry. In October 2007 I accepted the position of membership coordinator for the Woodward OK base for AirEvac Lifeteam. With the inception of the AirMedCare Network in 2010 I also started covering bases for our providers in SW Kansas and the Texas Panhandle.

When I am not selling memberships, you can find me working on our farm/ranch, gardening, and watching college sports, again GO POKES!!, My greatest assets are my wife Debra, daughter Erin, Sons Josh and Jacob, and our newest addition granddaughter August.

This company has afforded me opportunities that I wouldn’t have dreamed of 8 years ago. Everyone I work with in this network are top-notch people. I feel blessed to work with such a great network of companies.

BORREGO SPRINGS

Borrego Springs, California becomes first municipality in CA to cover residents…

Borrego Springs CA Press Release

The city of Borrego Springs, California, has entered into an agreement with REACH Air Medical Services, giving residents peace of mind with county-wide membership coverage.

In the event an insured Borrego Springs resident is flown by REACH or any AirMedCare Network participating provider for a life- or limb-threatening emergency from within San Diego County, Ca., that AMCN-participating air medical service will work with your benefits provider to secure payment for the flight. Whatever the patient’s benefits provider pays is considered payment in full. Even with medical insurance, an air medical transport may leave patients and their families with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. If the resident transported is uninsured at the time of transport, REACH will bill the covered person at the “Medicare Allowable Rate” for the transport.

City residents may also take advantage of upgrading to full AirMedCare Network Membership at a discounted rate, to gain full coverage with no pickup location or insurance coverage restrictions.

For questions about membership in the AirMedCare Network program, please call 800-793-0010 or visit www.airmedcarenetwork.com. Locally, AirMedCare Network Membership Manager George Nava can be reached at 760-550-1465.

AirMedCare Network participating providers have more than 245 air medical bases across 32 states, providing air ambulance services for residents who suffer a life- or limb-threatening illness or injury.

At AirMedCare Network, we are a family, and we care about yours as well.  We don’t want to see anyone struggling with medical bills, and we all know Air Transport can be costly.  Protecting your family from the potential exposure to these high costs is our passion, and we are humbled to see the wide-spread support from your city and county officials.  They care about their residents, just as we do, and they’re stepping up and showing it in a BIG way!

We now have eighty municipalities that are protecting their residents from the possibility of financial hardship after a medical emergency, and it’s amazing to see the effects in the communities. Most of our bases fly multiple times each day, and many accidents happen close to home. Now, with these plans in place, numerous flights are not causing out-of-pocket expenses being billed to the patient, and the area’s economies are saved from the strain of incurring flight bills.  AirMedCare Network, working to keep your money local, and your Air Medical bases strong – right where they’re needed most.

Program of the Year!

On October 19, 2015, at the AAMS Awards Banquet in Long Beach, California, REACH leadership and staff joined President Sean Russell onstage as he accepted the 2015 award. He thanked the employees of REACH for their integrity, compassion, and a pursuit of excellence – all in the name of doing what is right for the patient. “I am privileged to work with such exceptional individuals,” he shared.

During the Program of the Year selection process, respected industry experts from AAMS and other emergency medical associations reviewed each company’s safety record, customer service ratings, community involvement, service to the industry, and number of years in operation. This award is hailed as one of the air medical transport industry’s highest honors and is presented annually to a company whose air ambulance program most clearly exceeds industry standards for safety, patient care, leadership and community service.

REACH is part of the AirMedCare Network, the nation’s largest emergency air medical transport membership program. Members are covered for out-of-pocket expenses in the event of an emergency air transport by REACH or another AirMedCare Network provider. For a low-cost annual fee, individuals and companies may join more than 1.8 million members who receive coverage from more than 220 air base transport locations across 32 states coast to coast.
