Its Catching On!

County Commissioners, City Officials, and other decision makers are showing their residents they care, in a BIG way.

Starting just about 2 years ago, AirMedCare Network, on behalf of its participating providers, Air Evac Lifeteam, Med-Trans, EagleMed and REACH Air Medical Services) began offering municipalities, (large and small) the option to pay one lump sum, and provide coverage to all their residents, in the event of a medically necessary flight.

There are now several types offered, from coverage extending across the entire footprint for the residents of the municipality, to only being covered for flights that originate within their boundaries (city/county/etc).  Many options are offered, to suit even the smallest town’s budget.

Based on the average flight cost, every flight that occurs to one of the area’s residents can affect the local economy in a big way.  Burdensome flight bills can have a ripple effect in the local economy, causing residents to no longer have discretionary income to spend at local businesses.

Lots of calculations go into the process, and many factors affect the price.  Looking at the prior year’s flights from the area is the best indicator to the decision makers on weather an MSP is right for them.

There are currently 54 counties/cities/towns across the AirMedCare Network’s 32 state coverage that have shown their constituents they CARE about their financial peace of mind, and have stepped up to provide their residents the financial safety net that AirMedCare Network has to offer.

Below are some links to recent MSP announcements across the US; your county should be next!   Let your municipality leaders know!
